PDI will primarily be achieved through the development and implementation of a flexible assistance program providing small funding grants up to K20,000 under 3 Categories:

  • Category A: To assist young and emerging leaders to access activities, networks and funding to strengthen their leadership and governance skills;

  • Category B: To support professional associations to provide professional development opportunities for their membership, including those in the provinces and remote locations; and

  • Category C: To support the PNG – Australia Alumni Association (PNGAAA) and - New Zealand Alumni to play an active role in the development of PNG.

Small Grants Program Application and Guidelines

Applications for grants should be submitted to Scholarships PNG for any the 3 categories by using the Standard Grant Application Form (2 pages) supported by a detailed proposal of the activity (2 pages).  Tthe proposal may follow the Activity Description template available for activity details.

Applications may be submitted for any one Category at a time.
